About me

When I was a teenager, my friends were starting a band. They handed me some drum-sticks and said “just hit these drums as hard as you can” and I instantly fell in love with drumming. It was my outlet for creativity, emotions and fun and I have been drumming ever since.

Currently I live in Colorado and have 2 decades of gigging/session drumming, producing and writing. What is most important to me when recording is listening to the artist and making sure I play the best feel for the song. My best genres are singer/songwriter, Americana, dry 70's style, rock and indie rock.

I have recorded and played with Gregory Alan Isakov, Reed Foehl, Hello Kavita, Covenhoven, Paul Kimbiris, Beth Preston, Taylor Tuke, Robby Peoples, John Statz, Kid Reverie, The Paper Stars and many others. I have opened for national acts such as The Lumineers, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Nathaniel Rateliff and The Flobots.

I record my drum tracks at my own in home studio and the room is acoustically treated and features high end preamps and mics.
